Nowadays, hundreds of thousands of forest fires are reported annually around the world (only in Finland there are more than 2000 fires a year). Modern forest monitoring is carried out in two ineffective ways: scanning the area from a helicopter or using drones with video cameras. And to determine the exact coordinates of the fire or fallen trees the equipment must be located at the point of the incident.
